City Hall transforms for the Mayor’s Mardi Gras Ball

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI)- City Hall is getting a make-over in anticipation of the Mayor's Mardi Gras Ball tonight in downtown St. Louis.

Kim Hudson got a look at the party decorations this morning on the 9 a.m. broadcast. She was joined by Mack Bradley, president of the Mardi Gras Foundation.

The Mayor's Ball is billed as one of the year’s most anticipated social events. General admission tickets to the event cost $150. Proceeds from the Mayor's Ball  benefit the Mardi Gras Foundation, which has made community grants to improve Soulard and downtown since 2003.

Ticket cost includes valet parking, open bar, dinner, dessert and dancing.
