Woman dies after stabbing inside her home

MOLINE ACRES, MO (KTVI) - A woman who was found stabbed inside her north St. Louis County home has died. The attack happened around midnight in the 9800 block of Wendell Drive in Moline Acres.

A man claiming to be the victim’s boyfriend contacted police. He says the 32-year-old sent him text messages stating someone was inside of her house and she could not speak.

Officers arrived and noticed signs of forced entry on the back door of the home.

The victim was found in the living room severely injured with multiple stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later. Her name has not been released.

There are no suspects or a motive at this time.
