ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – After the less-than friendly departure of the St. Louis Rams, many fans wanted to quickly get rid of their fan gear.  A good way to do that was to donate it.  The Facebook group “Don’t Burn Your Rams Stuff” has collected hundreds of clothing items with the Rams logo to distribute to the needy and homeless Veteran community.

Most of what they have collected will be shipped out to Los Angeles to be distributed by American Legion Posts there.  Some warm weather gear will remain in St. Louis for those in the colder climate.

Before the items are shipped, the group is holding a remembrance ceremony on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at 2:00pm at the American Legion Post 208 (225 Old Sulphur Spring Road, Manchester, MO).  Yes, Super Bowl Sunday.  The idea is to remember the good times of the NFL in St. Louis.
