Lake St. Louis Police looking into attempted abduction of teenage girl

LAKE ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - An abduction attempt of a teenage girl in Lake St. Louis has police they're asking for the public's help.

Here's a composite sketch of the man police are looking for.

Police say Thursday the man driving in a gray pick-up truck first asked, and then demanded that a 15-year-old girl get into his truck.

The girl told police the same thing happened a week ago.

Both incidents happened shortly after 2 pm in the afternoon in the area around Landing Place Drive.

The suspect is described as a white male is in his 30's or 40's, with dark hair and a partially gray beard.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lake St. Louis Police at (636) 625-8018.
