Man struck and killed on I-44 was standing on highway taking photos

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A pedestrian struck and killed along I-44 at Macklind early on the morning of February 2, 2016, has been identified. St. Louis Police say Will Miner, 24, was standing in the fast lane of the interstate taking pictures of two friends who were sitting on the median when he was struck by a Toyota 4Runner then several other vehicles. He died at the scene.

The driver of the 4Runner remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
