ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI)- The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) is suing the city of Ferguson after the City Council rejected a proposed agreement.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said she has no further choice after the agreement was rejected.

The council actually approved the agreement Tuesday night, but added seven amendments; the biggest concern being money.

St. Louis attorney Chet Pleban spoke with Fox 2 in a phone interview to shed some light on what happens next for the city of Ferguson.
