SCOTT AFB, IL. (KTVI)- The 375th Aero Medical Evacuation (Med-Evac) squadron out of Scott Air Force Base (AFB) train for the worst emergencies.

Whether it is wounded friendly troops in the field, or civilians caught up in a natural disaster, they are prepared, said Captain John Brennan.

A flight crew in the 375th Aero Med-Evac is typically comprised of five people; two flight nurses and three medical technicians.

Med-Evac squadrons deploy often, usually for four months in-country, and home for eight before repeating the process, said Cpt. Brennan.
