PACIFIC, MO (KTVI) - A fundraiser was held Saturday night for a Pacific church devastated by the historic flood waters that hit Missouri hard in December.

The fundraiser was held at the Pacific Eagles Hall.  The pastor of First Baptist Church of Pacific says although his church was damaged by flood waters he continues to keep the faith.

The pastor says he’s committed to long term recovery efforts in the area after many towns along the Meramec and Mississippi river where hit by devastating historic floods.

Tonight a silent auction was held, along with song and prayer to help raise funds to repair the church.

The church is still in need of volunteers to help rebuild, along with various materials.

Donations can be made at: gofundme.com/rahvghfk or Historic 1st Baptist Church of Pacific PO Box 262 Pacific, MO 63069
