Arrest made in Central West End assault and robbery

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- An arrest has been made in connection with the case of an assault and robbery in the Central West End late last Thursday.  Jaquan Rush, 20, has been charged with 1st Degree Robbery. A cash only bond is set at $120,000.

The incident happened about 9:15pm Thursday in the 4500 block of Forest Park, near the Parkway Hotel. A woman has parked her car to walk to a nearby restaurant. When she approached the hotel, four men were standing around. One of the men, believed to be Rush, walked up and punched her in the face then demanded her purse. The suspects fled on foot after the robbery.

The victim’s purse was later recovered, but her iPhone was missing.
