Student with autism hits 3-pointer in Francis Howell game

(KTVI) - A Francis Howell student who has autism gets his chance to play in an actual basketball game and the results made the crowd go crazy!

15-year-old Tyler Haynes made a three pointer!

Tyler is the manager for the basketball team and gets to help with practices and warm ups.

On Friday the coaches put Tyler in the JV game at the end of the first period and after the third try, Tyler shot a three pointer.

Tyler’s mom says although Tyler is limited by autism, the coaches and athletic director have done an amazing job including him as part of the team.
