I-270 at Dougherty Ferry reopens after morning closure

power-linesST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) - All north and southbound lanes of Interstate 270 have reopened after being closed Wednesday morning due to downed power lines on Dougherty Ferry, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

The lines came down at Dougherty Ferry around 7 a.m. and are still being cleared at that location. Dougherty Ferry remains closed between Ballas and Des Peres Road as of Wednesday afternoon, but MoDOT has cleared the interstate of any debris and started to allow traffic on the interstate as of 2 p.m. The ramps at Dougherty Ferry on both northbound and southbound I-270 will remain closed.
