ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Mood swings, depression, and hot flashes are symptoms of the "so-called change." It changes the lives of women between the ages of 45 and 55 who are going through menopause.

Menopause is a natural progression of aging when women stop menstruating and no longer produce estrogen. Many women are getting hormone replacement therapy to get rid of the nagging symptoms, but there are alternatives available to the estrogen treatments.
