Stacey Dash makes surprise yet awkward appearance at Oscars 

Stacey Dash made a special appearance at the 88th annual Academy Awards ceremony and the internet is in a frenzy. Host/ Comedian Chris Rock introduced the FOX News Contributor as the new Director of Diversity Outreach for the Oscar's.

The crowd was speechless.

Dash walked on stage and told the audience that she could not wait to "help her people out." Before exiting she chuckled while saying, "Happy Black History Month!"

After the "awkward" moment, Dash went back stage to read "mean tweets" about her cameo. According to the actress, "It wasn’t pretty."

This is an issue for some because Dash has recently made comments about the removal of the celebration which highlights the accomplishments of African Americans. Dash has also called for award shows that honor minorities such as the NAACP Image Awards and B.E.T., (Black Entertainment Television) to be removed.

Green Bay Packers player stuns in orange and blue on the red carpet 

Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback for the Green Bay Packers has social media buzzing about his red carpet attire. Rodgers wore a navy blue tuxedo and his girlfriend stunned in beautiful orange gown. Not the ideal colors, unless you're a Chicago Bears fan, right?

One tweet from the NFL sparked a friendly social media war.

Even rapper Common joined in on the fun after he was photobombed by Rodgers during an interview.

"This is exactly why fans & fans will never get along. I will get you back !"

As USA Today put it, Aaron should have been named the red carpet MVP!

 

Kylie Jenner and Kylie Minogue battle for trademark rights 

Kylie Jenner wants to trademark the name "Kylie" but Kylie Minogue isn't having it. You may remember the Australian pop star from her hits like "Locamotion" and "Can't Get You Out of My Head."

According to The Guardian, the 47-year-old says by allowing Jenner to take the name Kylie would "cause confusion for Minogues fans and dilute her brand."

Jenner, 18, is known for appearing on the reality show 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians.' Her plans are to expand her empire of clothing and beauty collections.

To date, Minogue has records sales of more than $80 million. She's an internationally renowned performing artist, humanitarian, and breast cancer activist.
