UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KTVI) - The University City Council held a special meeting Monday night to try and revoke the liquor license of the Social House 2.  That effort was successful and the council voted to revoke the businesses liquor license.

The restaurant features servers who wear nothing but body paint above the waist.

Social House 2 opened in the U-City loop last week.  The controversy surround the attire or lack  of for servers.  Body paint is all they're wearing above the waist as they wait on customers at the location, something they started in their original spot in Soulard.  Attorneys for the Social House have argued all along that the liquor license is for the location, not the business and they believe it can't be revoked.   But the city is planning its own action in this case, that seems destined for a courtroom before it's all over.
