Presidential candidates stopping in St. Louis ahead of Missouri primary

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Candidates continue to head our way on the campaign trail as the primary gets closer.

Ted Cruz will be speaking at 10am at Parkway West High School. A line has already formed outside the door. Organizers say 3,000 people have will be attending Saturday's event.

Cruz will have special guest Carly Fiorina with him. Fiorina was a candidate in this Republican race before ending her campaign a month ago. Just a few days ago she announced she was supporting Cruz. This is only her second stop she has made with him.

Cruz's wife Heidi is also in town. She was in Belleville earlier this week and will be in St. Louis today. She will be speaking at the St. Louis County Lincoln and Reagan Dinner at Orlando Gardens Saturday at 6pm.

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton will be in the area as well. Saturday at 11am Clinton is holding a rally at the Carpenter's Apprentice Hall in Afton. She will be talking about economic opportunity.

Bill Clinton was in town earlier this week campaigning on behalf of his wife. Clinton's opponent Bernie Sanders spoke at a rally just a week ago at SIUE.

All of the candidates to the area is in anticipation for the primary on Tuesday.

Right now the polls have Trump and Clinton ahead in Missouri.
