BELLAIRE, TX - A man accused of killing a pizza shop worker in the Houston area is behind bars because of a tip from his sister.

She says she called police because it was the right thing to do.

Jeff Ehling spoke with her.

(Tarrell Taylor/Suspect's Sister):  "I was just on my phone, looking up things and it finally came up and the news was on at the same time and that's how I kind of seen the accident."

Tarrell Taylor said she called police about the Reginelli's Pizza Shop murder after seeing the surveillance video and recognizing the suspect as her brother Kiara Elijahjuan Taylor.

But she called her brother before notifying the police.

(Tarrell Taylor/Suspect's Sister):  “He didn't admit it, but I told him, I know that it is you, so you just admit it."

Taylor says at first her 26-year-old brother denied having anything to do with the killing but eventually confessed.

(Tarrell Taylor/Suspect's Sister):  "So he was still like, he didn't do it and finally he said he did."

(Jeff Ehling/Bellaire, TX):  "Finally he said yes?"

(Tarrell Taylor/Suspect's Sister):  "Yes."

Now Kiara Elijahjuan Taylor is charged with the murder of 19-year-old Peter Mielke.

Tarrell Taylor says she bought the alleged murder weapon for her brother, but had no idea he would use it in a crime.

(Tarrell Taylor/Suspect's Sister):  "He didn't say for what and I didn't ask him for what, I just, you know, I don't know."

There was a $10, 000 Dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

But Taylor says that was not her motivation for calling police.
