ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) - Know before you go.

Look for lane shifts and closures on westbound Interstate 70 in St. Charles.

MoDOT crews begin work Monday to narrow and shift lanes on I-70 between Fifth Street and Highway 94. There will be nightly lane closures all week, starting at 9:30 each night until 5 a.m. the next morning.

Crews will be re-striping the lanes and setting up barrier walls. MoDOT says drivers should expect back-ups on the Blanchette Bridge. It's just one of a number of projects MoDOT is planning as the winter season comes to an end.

In St. Louis County, Interstate 55 will be renovated between Lindbergh and Broadway. In St. Louis City, crews will replace the Grand Avenue bridge over Interstate 44.

MoDOT warns drivers to keep an eye out for road crews.
