New superintendent at Hazelwood School District

Dr. Nettie Collins-Hart

FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI) – The Hazelwood School District’s Board of Education named Dr. Nettie Collins-Hart as the new superintendent of the district.

Collins-Hart will take over July 1, replacing interim superintendent Dr. Ingrid Clark-Jackson.

Collins-Hart, who has 40 years experience in education, presently works as superintendent for Proviso Township High Schools District 209 in Forest Park, Illinois. She holds a doctorate degree in educational policy and leadership from University of Kansas-Lawrence; a master’s degree in educational administration and curriculum and instruction, as well as a master’s degree in English education, both from East Carolina University; and a bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
