St. Charles County residents begin task of picking-up storm damage

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – Ominous clouds brought thunder, lightning and severe storms to the metro area Tuesday.  Forecasters say we could be facing more severe storm s Wednesday.

But for residents in and around New Melle in St. Charles County, the worry is about the storm damage caused by Tuesday storms.  The storms rolled through the area mid-afternoon with strong winds, hail and driving rain.

The storm left roofs damaged, blown off, trees downed, limb littering yards and cars damaged.

So far no injuries have been reported.
