ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - On Monday afternoon the music was flowing at Concourse C at Lambert Airport.
The airport kicked off a fun-filled 'Thank-You' week for passengers. First up was the Two Pedros Band jamming in the Terminal 2. The music is all part of a new campaign to celebrate St. Louis, travelers and the fun aspects of the city. The initiative also has a hastag that says #stl-thanks-you!
Officials say they want to make sure passengers feel as special as possible. Travel at the airport traffic is up 10 percent.
More entertainment and music is scheduled for the rest of the week. On Tuesday passengers will see Fredbird and get free snow cones. Six Flags characters will be at the airport on Wednesday and a Budweiser Clydesdale will stop by on Thursday.
At least 13 million passengers flow through Lambert Airport every year.
