Steen, Backes score twice, Blues rout Stars 6-1 in Game Three

Blues Win

Alexander Steen and David Backes scored two goals each leading the lead the St. Louis Blues to a dominant 6-1 win over the Dallas Stars in game three of their playoff series on Tuesday night at Scottrade Center. Troy Brouwer and Vladimir Tarasenko also scored on the lopsided victory. Brian Elliott stopped 25 of 26 shots to get the win in goal. It's the Blues first lopsided triumph of the postseason. Their other five wins in the playoffs were decided by one goal. The Blues lead the best of seven series now, two games to one. Game 4  is Thursday night at Scottrade Center with a 7:00 PM face off.
