ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Severe weather swept through St. Louis Wednesday afternoon. Ameren Missouri reports that over 30,000 people are out of power.
The storms produced high winds and damaging hail. There are reports of damage to vehicles, homes and power lines. FOX 2 reporters have spotted several trees that have fallen into homes. Viewers have sent in images to the station of broken car windshields from baseball sized hail.
The power outages appear to be concentrated in north St. Louis County. There are also outages in Webster Groves and Rock Hill.
There are 50-500 people out of power in Jefferson County.
