ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- It was a beautiful weekend for an air show. One of the big draws at this year’s Spirit of St. Louis Air Show was the Canadian Forces Snowbirds aerobatic team. It was the first time in 22 years that the precision flying team has been back in St. Louis.

The nine plane formation pilots fly just about four feet apart, wing tip to wing tip, in dynamic formations.

Sunday night, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds pilots were the invited guests of the St. Louis Blues at Game 1 of the NHL’s Western Conference Final. The team has been inviting Canadians to cheer for the Blues since no Canadian teams made the Stanley Cup Playoffs this post-season.
