Accident in North St. Louis sends 3 to the hospital, 1 in serious condition

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - A car accident in North St. Louis sends multiple people to the hospital.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash and one person was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The accident happened near Grand and Natural Bridge around 7:30 pm.

We are told one car rear ended another vehicle and that forced into a third car.

Accident reconstruction crews responded to the scene along with multiple emergency service agencies to investigate.

Three people were injured in the crash.

And just about a block away around 8:30 pm near Grand and Fair in North St. Louis, a city police car was involved in a crash after a driver lost control of his vehicle.

Police say the driver was trying to make a U-turn and hit the police cruiser.

No one was injured.

An eyewitness said the driver was suffering from a medical condition.

Both accidents are currently under investigation.
