CelloFest May 30th at Webster University

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- You can listen to anything from Bach to hip hop at this Monday's, May 30, 'Cello-fest' at Webster University.

Catherine Lehr Ramos, former assistant principal cello of the st. Louis symphony, organized Cello-fest 2016. The cellists performing are from ages 10 to 33 and are coming in from across the country (Arizona, Michigan, Texas, Massachusetts, etc.)

Along with classical music performed by the cellists, hip hop dance will be incorporated with the music. Professional hip hop dancer, Moh Ghraiz, will be dancing.

The evening's program will include unaccompanied Bach, a Mexican mariachi tune (Cielito Lindo), small ensemble pieces and pieces for 10-25 cellists, and more.
