Missing Fairview Heights woman found safe

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, IL (KTVI)-A missing Fairview Heights woman has been found safe. Lacee Underwood, 21, is in the hospital this morning for evaluation.

Police received a call from a crisis intervention worker after Underwood threatened to commit suicide. Authorities pinged her mobile phone and began to search for her Tuesday afternoon in Pleasant Ridge Park.

After more than seven hours, Underwood was found in the park unharmed.
