Six injured in car crash after suspects fire at officers

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - Six people were rushed to the hospital after a car crash that came after police say shooting suspects fired at them. The crash happened at Page and Spring north of midtown.

St. Louis police say two suspects were shooting at special operation units, but it’s unclear where the shots were fired.

Police say the suspects wrecked into two other cars.

No officers fired a weapon and no officers were injured.

The fire department worked to free someone stuck in one of the crashed vehicles.

There was also man in handcuffs sitting on the sidewalk.

Police say none of the injuries are life-threatening.
