Traveling credit card scammer caught in Ladue; sentenced to prison

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A scam artist passing through town is sent to prison after pleading guilty in federal court Thursday.

Ladue Police arrested Haben Sebhatu of Bellevue, Washington in March. He was busted with counterfeit credit cards and a card encoder used to put stolen card numbers on magnetic strips.

They say Sebhatu was traveling the country making fraudulent purchases before he was caught in Ladue.
