Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is celebrating 50 years. Multiple Tony Award-winning Broadway icon Bernadette Peters will perform at a 50th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, September 24, at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel.
Founded in 1976 by producing director Ron Himes, the Black Rep is celebrating 40 seasons. It is the largest, professional African-American theatre company in the nation and the largest African-American performing arts organization in Missouri.
The 2016-2017 season marks the 30th Anniversary for STAGES St. Louis. New Line Theatre, known as the "The Bad Boy of Musical Theatre," was created in 1991 and is celebrating its 25th anniversary. New Jewish Theatre is celebrating 20 years on stage. Mustard Seed Theatre and St. Louis Actors’ Studio will mark their 10th anniversary.
