WASHINGTON (AP) _ At a summit on the “United State of Women,” Michelle Obama had advice for the men in the audience: Be better.

One-time talk-show host Oprah Winfrey moderated a discussion with the first lady at Tuesday’s event and solicited advice on what men in the audience can do when they return home.

Mrs. Obama said: “Be better at everything,” including better fathers, husbands and bosses.

She says the greatest gift she received from the men in her life was their “solid example” of what it means to be a good man.

For women in the audience, the first lady said they shouldn’t feel as though they are failing if they’re not “having it all.”

She says having it all is possible, just not at the same time.
