CHILLICOTHE, MO (KTVI) – A Wentzville woman will represent the Show Me State at the Mrs. America Pageant later this summer after winning the title of Mrs. Missouri America.

Heather Hussey claimed the crown over the weekend. Both the Mrs. Missouri and Mrs. Kansas pageants were run together in Chillicothe.

Hussey holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications/public relations from the University of Missouri and a Masters degree from Lindenwood University. She lives in Wentzville with her husband, Robert, and their five children.

The Mrs. America Pageant will be August 20 through August 27 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The winner will move on to the Mrs. World competition this fall in Incheon, South Korea.

Two Missouri women have gone on to claim the Mrs. America title: Heidi Dinan (2003) and Andrea Robertson (2009).
