ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Many St. Louisans will once again celebrate the Fourth of July in Forest Park at Fair St. Louis. Live music, great food, a Family Festival Zone, and amazing fireworks will again mark this celebration of America's birthday, which will be held July 2-4, 2016.  All events will surround the park's Grand Basin.

This is the third year that the festival will be held in Forest Park due to the ongoing CityArchRiver project that is improving the Arch grounds in downtown St. Louis.

Hip-hop recording artist Flo Rida, country music star Lee Brice, and rock legend Sammy Hagar and The Circle will be the main music acts that perform each of  the three nights of the festival.

Admission to Fair St. Louis is free. Parking in Forest Park will be tough to come by so you are encouraged to carpool,  take MetroLink, or even bike to get to the fair.

Note that the annual  Veiled Prophet Parade is moving back to downtown St. Louis this year. It will step off at 9:30am Saturday, July 2 , at Market Street at 7th Street and will proceed west  to Union Station.
