ST. LOUIS, MO(KTVI) - St. Louis is no Hawaii, but you can feel the island breeze next week at a special event!

Karl Ruhmann, Joe Schneider, and Jodi Darrohn from Community Living are hosting a Big Kahuna Bartender Challenge on June 28th from 6 - 9 PM. The event will take place at Gettemeier's in St. Peter's.

During the event, Community Living staff and board members will battle it out behind the bar for 90 minutes to raise funds for Community Living, a premier provider of programs for people with disabilities in St. Charles County.

Team members will use their bar-tending skills to earn tips. All proceeds - including tips and a $5 cover charge - will benefit Community Living's programs. The team that earns the most funds will earn the coveted 'Big Kahuna' title.

Community living encourages everyone to dress in Hawaiian-style clothing!
