ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A local bakery owner wanted to help one of her customers, but she didn't know how, until now! She's making and raising dough for dogs!

Christina Hohn, owner of A Little Taste of Heaven Bakery, decided to help her regular customer Ashley Wilson. She knew that Ashley gives all her free time to transporting and fostering dogs for rescue. Hohn didn't have extra time to help with either of those things, but she really wanted to help.

She decided to set up a fundraiser to benefit the Dachshund Rescue of St. Louis. The rescue has recently rescued numerous litters of puppies that ended up with parvo, a virus that seriously affects dogs.  The vet bills to treat them are very expensive and this fundraiser will help pay those bills.

The more people that shop, the more money we can donate! And, the first 50 customers who spend $5.00 or more get a free hand decorated sugar cookie!

Visit A Little Taste of Heaven Bakery in Edwardsville, IL this Friday to participate in the fundraiser! To get more information, visit their Facebook page: facebook.com/A-Little-Taste-of-Heaven-Bakery-174646752561265/
