ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The tiny house movement is sweeping the nation as people choose to downsize the space they live in. Tiny houses come in many shapes, sizes, and forms and encourage simpler living in a smaller, more efficient space.

Julie Schurr has built her own tiny home. Now she is hosting a workshop on how you can do the same. She'll talk about starting your process and learning from her mistakes. She’ll also discuss how to incorporate reclaimed materials into the building process.

The six-hour workshop will be offered from 11am-2pm on both July 9-10, 2016 at the Michelle Mynx Academy, on South Grand Blvd. Seating is limited.
