One dead, one wounded in north St. Louis shooting

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A man is dead and a woman is wounded after a shooting in north St. Louis. Police were called to the 3900 block of Ashland in the Greater Ville neighborhood. The woman had been shot in the neck. She was rushed to the hospital. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting occurred at Martin Luther King and Vandeventer just before 3:00pm. St. Louis police say that the victims were able to  drive to Ashland and that's where police were called.

There were three adults and one small child in the car at the time of the shooting.

There is no description of the victims, but police are searching for a black car. The investigation is ongoing.
