Blues sign Brodziak to contract extension

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Kyle Brodziak to a two-year contract extension, the club announced Wednesday.

Terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

Brodziak, 32, was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the seventh round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He spent time with the Oilers and Minnesota Wild before joining the Blues last season.

Brodziak played in 76 regular season and 20 postseason games with the Blues. He recorded 11 points and 37 penalty minutes in the regular season and two goals and six penalty minutes in the playoffs.
