THE WEATHER DISCO:
A large dome of Canadian high pressure moves out…then here comes the rub…the northwest flow will flatten slightly and this will become the running board for a series of large thunderstorm complexes for the holiday weekend. Again…repeat after me…”we never trust the northwest flow”…this means we will see a few of these large bubbles of thunderstorms(not the scattered variety) the problem there is no way to time these things out until they get going…sometimes right on our back-door step… what I can tell you…is when these things move in…there will be 3 to 4 hours of heavy rain, wind and lightning…then we go dry for 12 plus hours. If we start to see the same track…flood concerns will also rise…but that is getting ahead… also…temperatures will stay below average for the next several days. So lets stay up to date on the weather and watch the skies.
