Shiloh police investigate First Bank robbery

SHILOH, IL (KTVI) – Shiloh authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the man who robbed a local bank back Thursday.

According to Detective George Fender, a spokesman for the Shiloh Police Department, the robbery took place around 1:15 p.m. at the First Bank inside Dierberg’s on Greenmount Crossing Drive.

The suspect did not display or infer that he had a weapon.

Police described the suspect as a Caucasian man, approximately 5’11” tall and weighing 200 pounds, with short brown hair, wearing a long sleeved blue button-down shirt and matching blue pants.

The Shiloh Police Department is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 618-632-9047.
