ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged a Lake St. Louis man Thursday in connection to a child enticement case.

According to prosecutors, the St. Charles County Cyber Crime Task Force launched an investigation July 20 after discovering 47-year-old William Conner arranged to meet a 14-year-old child for sex. Conner responded to an online ad about the popular smart phone app Pokémon Go.

Conner was charged with enticement of a child. He remains jailed at the St. Charles County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
