ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Republican candidate for Missouri Governor, Eric Greitens, is denouncing a new ad being run in the race. He is upset over an ad by the Democratic Governor's association.

Greitens says the ads are an attack on him in an effort to sway Republican voters to cast their ballot for another candidate in the race. The winner will likely face democrat Chris Koster in November.

"The Democratic Governor's Association and the Obama machine today launched a last ditch effort to try and save Chris Koster by playing in the Republican primary," said Eric Greitens.

Democrats also rallied outside their headquarters, saying the would welcome Greitens back to the party.
