OVERLAND, MO (KTVI) - A suspected shoplifter prompted a bomb scare at an Overland home Depot Wednesday evening.  The police chief says employees caught a person shoplifting and were worried the materials that had been taken could be used for making a bomb.

There were similar materials found in the suspect's van but no explosives.

Police say the suspect was taken into custody.

The all clear was given around 9:30 pm, and the store reopened.
