“Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” in the 4th annual event

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Are you man enough to "walk a mile in her shoes?"  That's the question YMCA is asking.

The upcoming 4th annual YWCA, "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes" event is August 18 at Ballpark Village.  Men are literally being asked to walk in women's shoes and put themselves in the place of those who are most likely to be victims of sexual or domestic violence.

YWCA offers victims of sexual violence in-person 24/7 crisis intervention, group and individual counseling, prevention education for individuals with developmental disabilities, and domestic violence support and prevention - all at no cost.

Men walk in heels or wear flowers on their shoes if they can't walk in heels, women can register and walk with them Registration fee is $25.00 payable online or in person day-of, funds support YWCA programs.
