ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - There's an old saying that goes if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. But, what happens if you don't even have have a hammer? Well problem solved. Thanks to this place, called TechShop, which takes 'Do-It-Yourself' to a whole new level.

They've got at least one of just about any tool you can think of. In some cases, two or more of the tools you didn't even know you needed.

TechShop Fancies itself as a dream factory, a place where anyone can build anything; even if they have never built something before. The shop itself is still being built. Some of it is outfitted with furniture and light fixtures built at other TechShops.

This St. Louis location is the 9th TechShop in America. TechShop offers classes or just over the shoulder supervision for anyone over the age of eight on everything from lathes to lasers and sawing to sewing. They even have computers programmed to assist with design.

It is all under one brand new roof at Forest Park and Boyle right in the middle of the Cortex Innovation District.
