Belleville Oktoberfest celebrates 36th year

BELLEVILLE, IL (KTVI) - German heritage is celebrated world-wide through Oktoberfest, and next weekend locals have to chance to join in the party once again in Belleville, Illinois.

Belleville Oktoberfest features food vendors of all sorts serving attendees delicious brats, sauerkraut, apple strudel, and much more.  Live entertainment fills the weekend on the main stage.  Little River Band is just one of the bands to take the stage.  And back by popular demand, your fury friends can take part with the Weiner Dog Race & Costume Contest that are set to kick off Saturday afternoon.
