FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI) – It is George Fernau`s daily ritual, spending time with those he`s loved and lost.  A kiss at his wife`s grave, a visits to his son`s grave and his nephew`s grave; all of them at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

He plays a song he wrote for his wife at her grave, and sings her a favorite song too.

But this visit truly broke his heart.  AS his gray, 2008 Chevy Impala was stolen while he was at cemetery.

He admits he left the keys in the car during his visit.

The same scenario played out here in June, a woman in her husband`s truck at his grave had it stolen.

There`s been a report of a similar crime at St. Ferdinand Cemetery just a few blocks away in Hazelwood.

Fernau and police are hoping someone comes forward to right these wrongs.
