ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The runner statue isn't the only thing you'll see downtown tonight.  We told you about the Cubs-Card game tonight and while the rivalry maybe red hot.  It is bringing in lots of green to the area.

This is St. Louis, a city that has gotten used to success in September and post season play in October.  But it appears it`s bizarro world in baseball as the Chicago Cubs at 92-51 compared to the Cardinals at 75-68.

Their magic number to win the central division is three, and that could happen here in St. Louis.

We’re use to seeing Cardinal red and navy blue in downtown and outside Busch Stadium on game days.  But not all this royal blue, red and white Cubs colors.

That`s right, there`s some north siders and Cubs fans here after years of agony and crushing defeats and curses involving spurned goat owners.

Some came into town to see Joe Maddon get ejected for his third game of the season after Kkyle Hendricks pitched eight no-hit innings before Jeremy Hazelbakers homerun in that 4-1 loss last night.

Cubs fans can taste the division title with a win tonight and one during tomorrow`s day game at Busch Stadium.

And those anxious Chicago fans are willing to spend some green to see some history.

The Cubs do have two World Series titles to their name, back to back years in 1907 and 1908.

They almost had a third in 1906 but the Chicago White stockings won that one.

What happens tomorrow remains to be seen?
