ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The Thread is a show that sews the St. Louis community together one story at a time. Tim Ezell and Virginia Kerr take you on a ride through area neighborhoods, shops and restaurants.

This week the crew heads to the Historic St. Charles, MO...and we mean really historic.  We travel back in time to the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site.  Then, Virginia takes us shopping on Historic Main Street while Tim auditions for St Charles' Christmas Traditions.

Virginia visits Bridge Bread Bakery, which helps provide work skills to people experiencing homelessness. Bridge Bread is located at 419 S. Main in St. Charles, MO.

And you'll meet a St. Charles woman who mother's battle with pancreatic cancer changed her life and she, in turn, worked to change the lives of others.
