FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI) – A courier whose van was vandalized due to a bumper sticker showing support for police has his vehicle back to normal.

Somebody spray painted “Cops Must Die. BLM. Pig lover” on Jim Tiroch’s cargo van on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. The vehicle only van he uses in his company, Trujillo-Tiroch Expediting. Tiroch believes his family was targeted for two reasons: a “Thin Blue Line” sticker on the van, and a blue light on his family’s front porch, both signs of support for law enforcement.

But the community reached out to Tiroch, starting with suggestions on how to remove the paint. Then Schneider Graphics in Weldon Springs, MO, donated their time and labor to remove the spray paint and fix the graphics.  That work happened Tuesday, September 20.
