ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – With September being National Preparedness Month, Jeff Waldman with Bethesda is here this morning to talk about an emergency kit initiative to help you in an emergency. It is always good to be prepared in case of an emergency and your loved ones should be prepared too.

Kits are available at no cost and to ensure the medical data is up to date, Bethesda sends new forms every six months. You keep the kits in your freezer because that is the first place medical respondents go.

The emergency kit  is endorsed by the American Red Cross,  Area Fire, and Police departments.
